Transplant Program
Our Transplant and Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) Program accepts patients with transplants of all types of organs, or those waiting for a transplant. MCS is a safe and effective method of supporting patients in terminal heart failure until a donor organ is obtained or Destination Therapy is pursued (which is an alternative to cardiac transplantation using a permanent implant of a ventricular assist device). Transplant therapy is designed to assist patients in gaining strength, endurance, and mobility.
Patient with needs including:
- Left Ventricular Assist Device
- Pre- and Post-Organ Transplant Care
- Transplant Education
